Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association is a not-for-profit society that works in partnership with community organizations, non-government organizations, the private sector and all levels of government to develop sustainable legacies in inter cultural and social issues. Now actively assisting communities to discover and create unique and inclusive social and economic bridge, especially for new immigrants. Our vision is of a sector working together to achieve excellence in volunteerism for the benefit of all Canadians. A strong and vital volunteer force is an integral part of a healthy community, a force that involves volunteers in a wide variety of sectors: health, education, social services, sport, recreation, culture, multiculturalism, disabilities, children, youth, business, environment and others. The vision of PCCA is to be a leader in the promotion of a society that recognizes the essential role, value and diversity of volunteers in improving the quality of life in our province. Thus, we hope that by working together, we will maximize the impact of volunteers and voluntary organizations in British Columbia.

MISSION STATEMENT AND OBJECTIVE:

To promote Pakistani and Canadian cultural values amongst the Canadian, Pakistani community, particularly of its youth, living in Canada through creating awareness and recognition enables them to play their effective role in the multi-cultural Canadian society.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

To work for the promotion of Pakistani socio-cultural values
To work for the welfare of the Canadians of Pakistani origin
To work for the uplifting of the economic conditions of the Canadians of Pakistani origin.
To educate the community on various Government programs.
To celebrate the national days of Pakistan and Canada.
To raise, receive, acquire, and hold funds, donations and gifts for the betterment of the community.
To undertake social projects for the betterment of the community.
To work for the better understanding of the provincial and federal policies affecting Canadians of Pakistani origin
To represent the community at the provincial and federal levels.
