Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association is a not-for-profit society that works in partnership with community organizations, non-government organizations, the private sector and all levels of government to develop sustainable legacies in inter cultural and social issues. Now actively assisting communities to discover and create unique and inclusive social and economic bridge, especially for new immigrants. Our vision is of a sector working together to achieve excellence in volunteerism for the benefit of all Canadians. A strong and vital volunteer force is an integral part of a healthy community, a force that involves volunteers in a wide variety of sectors: health, education, social services, sport, recreation, culture, multiculturalism, disabilities, children, youth, business, environment and others. The vision of PCCA is to be a leader in the promotion of a society that recognizes the essential role, value and diversity of volunteers in improving the quality of life in our province. Thus, we hope that by working together, we will maximize the impact of volunteers and voluntary organizations in British Columbia.
To promote Pakistani and Canadian cultural values amongst the Canadian, Pakistani community, particularly of its youth, living in Canada through creating awareness and recognition enables them to play their effective role in the multi-cultural Canadian society.
The bylaws of the society are those set out in Schedule B of the Society Act of BC.
