Pakistan Canada Association
The Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association (PCCA) is a non-political, cultural and social organization that strives to promote the presence of Pakistanis living in British Columbia. Our mission is to provide socio-cultural interaction opportunities for the Pakistani community. We offer a variety of programs and services that facilitate integration into Canadian Society for its members. We also have a strong commitment to raising awareness of the economic and cultural contributions made by Youth in our Canadian society. Our programs continue to expand and change, reflecting the unique needs of the diverse community we serve. Ultimately, we strive to raise awareness of matters relating to diversity and inclusivity in our community.

PCCA-BC once again has organized a Grand Chand Raat and Eid Mela (Festival). The month of Ramadan is a deeply spiritual month to all Muslims. It is a time of great reflection of what Islam is about, compassion and charity. It is also a time for affirming a sense of identity amongst workmates, friends and the community.

Quaid’s Day commemorates the birthday of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who was a notable politician, founder of Pakistan and Pakistan’s first Governor General.
This day known as ‘Birthday of Quaid-e-Azam’, Quaid-e-Azam meaning Great Leader.

Allama Iqbal Day

Allama Iqbal, a poet, philosopher, politician, as well as an academic, barrister and scholar. He is called the “Spiritual Father of Pakistan” and is considered one of the most important figures in Urdu literature with literary work in both Urdu and Farsi.
